Like a good neighbor
I'd like to consider myself a good neighbor. Maybe even a great neighbor. My logic is you spend more time around your house than you do with your extended family. Why not make friends with those that around you. I like my neighbors on both sides of me, I would do almost anything for them. I think they are catching on. I take care of cats, clean gutters, move furniture. Last Super Bowl Sunday, DJ was volunteered to have everyone over to watch the game on his gazillion inch big screen tv. But he didn't have cable or satellite and his ABC came in really crappy, so we ran a long piece of cable out my window and over to his house, feeding him a perfect satellite picture, much to the disgust of my wife who called us trailer trash.

Tonight, I almost had to draw the line when DK called and asked if I had freezer space. Thinking he was defrosting his, I said "sure", only to find that he wanted me to put in a wool rug for a couple weeks. Apparently, by freezing them, it kills the larvae of moths and other bugs. Thank goodness I didn't have THAT much room.
